Marrakech to Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou: Full day sightseeing and cultural trip from the red Imperial city of Marrakech to one of Morocco's most recognized and photographed post-card Kasbah’s. After crossing the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass in the high Atlas Mountains, descend into the terracotta city of Ouarzazate, Gateway to Morocco’s famous Sahara desert. Top of your bucket list Morocco trip and recognized as a UNESCO world heritage site, Kasbah Aït Benhaddou is one of the most extraordinary Kasbah’s in Morocco. The giant crumbling structure is made up of six Kasbah’s and a great example of traditional pisé clay fortified architecture. The Kasbah has been widely featured in major films and recently in The Game of Thrones. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch in Ouarzazate, followed by a guided tour of the Kasbah. Things to see include the surrounding Ksours and a look into the authentic life of the Berber people still living inside the Kasbah. Optional shopping opportunities at the authentic local souk. Late afternoon arrival back in Marrakech.
