Marrakech to Oukaïmeden: Full day hiking and ski trip from the red Imperial city of Marrakech to the Berber village of Oukaïmeden, a small winter ski resort and rural community in the High Atlas Mountains near Mount Toubkal in the Al Haouz Province of Morocco. It is one of the few places in Morocco where skiing is possible in winter and also boasts the highest ski lifts in Africa (reaching 10,825 feet) with ski apparel rental facilities. Upon arrival, depart on a guided walk-around and hiking tour of the snowed-in valley. Enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch with sweet mint tea, followed by free time to play in the snow or try some optional sledging, snowboarding or even a ski lesson. Late afternoon arrival back in Marrakech.
